PLANNING PERMITS

Planning Permits Are Required For Single Dwelling, Multiple, Industrial /Commercial or Change of Use

1. Dwelling Extensions, Proposed Dwelling and Alterations

  • All extensions and alterations to a single residence don’t require a planning permit, But A planning permit is required if one of the following applies: 
    • If the size of your property is less than 300sqm, sometimes under 500 msq if specified in the schedule to the residential zone.
    • If your property has an overlay ie heritage overlay.
 

2. Our Report Content are as follows:

   A) Any or All Relevant provisions within the State planning policy framework

   B) Any or ALL Relevant provisions within the Local planning policy framework

   C) Any or ALL Zoning, schedule to the zone and minimum garden area

   D) Any or ALLOverlays and schedule to the overlay

   E) Any or ALL Car parking and clause 54 assessment within Particular Provisions.

3. Checklist Of Information We Require

   A) A Site plan (Site Survey of Levels may be required)

   B) An Existing floor plan

   C) A Proposed floor plan

   D) A Proposed elevations (including any changes to front fence)

   E) A Shadow diagrams if applicable
